My profession
I got an MSc in mathematics with a specialization in numerical harmonic analysis, the fundaments of signal processing.
I work in R&D at Center Systems in Vienna, Austria. We equip video surveillance systems with smart computer vision algorithms, especially for traffic security. I'm doing applied research in current image processing and machine learning methods. I'm looking for contacts and challenges in these areas, as well as in data engineering, data mining, statistics, computer perception and artificial intelligence.
My interests
I use the GNU/Linux computer operating system exclusively at work and at home. I gained profound admin experience through various commercial and private projects.
Other things I like to do in my spare time are photography (see my gallery), playing the guitar, biking and travel.
